You are cordially invited to attend one of America’s most dynamic annual military events in honor of those who serve(d) in the Armed Forces. We will be honoring the WWII Marines of Montford Point as they make an indelible mark in the pages of American History as the first African American fighting unit in the U.S. Marine Corps. Four (4) Congressional Gold Medas (Bronze Replicas) will be presented) to surviving families of WWII heroes. The guest speaker will be MajGen Cornell Wilson (USMC-RET) who was appointed by the Secretary of Defense to serve as Director of Manpower & Reserve Affairs.
All branches of military services are represented at this affair including the United States Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. This event is attended by guest from all over the United States as well locally including governmental & public officials, military dignitaries, veteran’s organizations, journalist, historians, students and faculty and the general public.
